Abstract
This article critically examines common challenges in qualitative research and presents strategies to ensure methodological rigor and practical relevance. Key difficulties include time-intensive data collection and analysis, researcher and participant bias, large and complex datasets, and limited generalizability. The article highlights solutions such as triangulation, audit trails, member checking, peer review, reflexivity, and adaptive research designs. Practical approaches for non-profits are discussed, including cultural sensitivity, simplified communication, and cost-effective technologies. Illustrative examples demonstrate how these strategies enhance credibility, transparency, and actionable insights, enabling qualitative research to inform program design, evaluation, advocacy, and policy in diverse and resource-constrained contexts.
