Resumo
A transparent and secure land record management system is crucial because India's traditional land record-keeping methods are historically ineffective, paper-based, and vulnerable to fraud and conflicts. It also renders existing systems vulnerable to illegal changes, corruption, and a backlog of data updates, which can lead to disagreements about property and property ownership. To address these issues, the paper suggests a decentralized, tamper-proof blockchain-based system that uses ML, smart contracts, Hyperledger Fabric, and cryptographic security to detect fraud. With accuracy rates of up to 99% for duplicate registrations, 97% for ownership tampering, and 98% for falsified documents utilizing the proposed system, the results show a significant improvement in fraud detection accuracy over time. Additionally, the system speeds up transactions; the new average processing times were 1.4 days instead of 9.2 days in the previous systems, demonstrating significant performance gains and supporting the ability of early adopters to spark an entire revolution in Indian real estate transactions.
