Abstract
This research explores the integration of biophilic design principles in high-rise buildings, emphasizing the importance of reconnecting urban residents with nature. The study investigates various global high-rise projects and examines the design strategies incorporating natural light, ventilation, vegetation, and water elements. By analyzing case studies such as Oasia Hotel Downtown in Singapore and One Central Park in Sydney, the paper demonstrates how biophilic design can enhance urban sustainability, biodiversity, and the physical and emotional well-being of occupants. The study concludes with recommendations for architects and urban planners to incorporate biophilic elements into future high-rise constructions.
