Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore the factors that influence faculty adoption of technology in the classroom, with a focus on business schools. The study employs a structured methodological approach by integrating a combination of the UTAUT (Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) and other relevant theories to examine the factors influencing faculty adoption of technology in the classroom. The data were collected from educators and analyzed using the structural equation modeling method to identify key determinants and assess their impact on technology adoption. The findings of the study reveal significant insights into the factors that influence faculty adoption of technology in the classroom. By incorporating the UTAUT framework and other theories, the study identifies key elements such as organizational culture and service quality, the evolving learning environment in the digital age and the importance of preparing executives in the field of sustainability. The study offers practical insights and suggestions to universities and educational institutions aiming to implement technologically advanced innovations. The findings highlight the importance of focusing on organizational culture and service quality while incorporating personalized learning experiences and a common set of learning tools. This information can guide decision-makers in designing effective strategies for faculty adoption of technology, ultimately enhancing the learning environment and preparing students for the digital age. This paper contributes to the existing body of knowledge by demonstrating the application of the UTAUT framework in combination with other theories to understand faculty adoption of technology in the classroom. The study provides a unique perspective on the interplay between organizational culture, service quality, and technological innovations in business schools. The study expands the understanding of the factors influencing technology adoption in educational settings, specifically in business schools, and contributes to the ongoing discourse on innovation and digital transformation.
