Augmented reality for measuring diameter at breast height using the iPhone measure app: outcomes on tree- and stand-level estimates of basal area in a Carpathian mixed forest

This article aims to address the possibility of using the Measure app, a free and common application integrated into the new smartphone models that use the iOS operating system, to measure DBH by highlighting the impact of diameter measurement errors on tree- and stand-level basal area.
