Abstract

This article seeks to recover certain formative aspects of Karl Marx’s thought, examining the dialectic between theory and practice through philosophy alongside Vladimir Lenin’s practical application of theory grounded on the materiality of Bolshevik actions during the 1917 Russian revolution. It proposes a historiographical analysis of the relationship between Marx’s and Lenin’s revolutionary theories within the historical conjuncture of the revolutionary events. This investigation aims to delineate the nexus between ideas and facts, which, in their scientific forms, underpin the social diagnoses contributing to the formation of revolutionary theories. The research emerges from a bibliographic review constructed through analysis of Marx’s writings, posthumous commentaries by Friedrich Engels, and manuscripts produced by Lenin throughout his lifetime.
