Abstract

The security of multimedia transmission in nextgeneration communication has become a top priority for researchers due to the increasing need for reliable wireless communication. Beamforming, a technique that adjusts the direction of the antenna radiation pattern, plays an essential role in enhancing the efficiency and security of multimedia transmission in NextG communication. This research introduces an innovative technique combining beamforming and jamming cooperatively to improve security within the THz band (0.1−30THz(0.1-30 \mathrm{THz}) through the comparative analysis of various beamforming strategies. The proposed approach leverages a beamforming vector and a cooperative-friendly jammer to augment the system’s capacity to preserve secrecy, mitigate outage probabilities, and expand coverage for the randomly distributed eavesdropper. To assess the effectiveness of this approach, a comprehensive numerical analysis is conducted against various antenna beam-formation patterns, showing substantial enhancements in physical layer security. Future research will explore the influence of diverse environmental conditions and investigate the performance of the cooperative multiple-directional beamforming method with mobile users in scenarios involving time-varying channels by comparing the performances with other matrices.
