Android Platform for Realtime Tracking of the Gait Using Inertial Measurement Units

A system for tracking the gait through the use of Inertial Measurement Units which are connected by a bluetooth link to a mobile device running an Android system for data acquisition shows that the system is a viable tool for the physical therapies to realize the measurement of the gait in a simple, comfortable way and with a low cost.
