Abstract
Menstruation is an important part of a woman's physiological cycle, and irregular menstruation affects her quality of life and health. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has a long history and rich experience in treating menstrual disorders. In recent years, with the development of science and technology and the recognition of the efficacy of TCM, the research on TCM treatment of menstrual disorders has gradually increased. Using Louvain and Lable-based clustering algorithms, this paper analyzes the high-level literature in the field of TCM treatment of menstrual disorders since 2003-2023 with "TCM treatment of menstrual disorders" as the theme, using CNKI as the data source, and analyzes the evolution trend and hotspot analysis of TCM treatment of menstrual disorders in the field of TCM treatment, aiming to reveal the main direction of current research and the future development. We analyzed the high level literature in the field of TCM treatment of menstruation from 2003 to 2023, and analyzed the evolution trend and hotspot of TCM treatment of menstruation, aiming at revealing the main direction of current research and the trend of future development. In which the evolution of the number of publications is the budding stage-low stage-boom stage, which can strengthen the communication, cooperation and resource sharing among research institutions and authors, and emerge high hot topics in the field of TCM treatment of menstruation such as Chinese medicine, polycystic ovary syndrome, primary dysmenorrhea, and metrorrhagia. It is also suggested that the theoretical basis and practical experience of TCM treatment of menstruation should be deeply explored, multi-center and large-sample clinical studies should be conducted, as well as modern scientific and technological means, such as data mining and artificial intelligence, should be combined to provide more scientific evidences and support for TCM treatment of menstruation problems and to promote the innovation and development of this field.
