Abstract

Pregnant women may in a very high risk condition if there are some disorders that occur during her pregnancy. The causes of this condition are: 1) Do not pay attention to the condition of pregnancy by conducting routine checks to the nearest doctor or midwife, 2) Lack of knowledge about symptoms of the disease during pregnancy, and 3) Expensive costs for treatment. Based of these conditions, we try to construct a Pregnancy Risk Detections System (PRDS) as an expert system that designed to detect the pregnancy risk level based on the symptom(s) experienced by the pregnant woman. In this researh, we conducted observation at Panimbang Health Center, and have classified 4 levels of pregnancy risk criteria are: 1) accompanying the disease, 2) complicated pregnancies, 3) poor obstetric history, and 4) poor maternal condition. The system is constructed based on data analysis approach starting from descriptive analysis, predictive and prescriptive analysis to provide recommendation which is analyzed under the symptoms felt by pregnant women during pregnancy. The results of this research are that using this system, midwives can anticipate the risk level of pregnant women through recommendations to anticipate the worst so that potential to reduce the mortality rate of pregnat woman or the fetus.
