Abstract
As consumer-facing systems scale in complexity and regulation, ensuring security and compliance throughout the software development lifecycle becomes critical. This work introduces an intelligent, automated approach for continuous compliance monitoring and secure infrastructure deployment in cloud-native environments. Using Google’s Vertex AI as a secure orchestration layer and AWS Systems Manager (SSM) and EventBridge as control mechanisms, we enable continuous enforcement of security policies. The approach integrates Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud event triggers, and machine learning models to detect anomalies and enforce controls at deploy-time. Our experimental validation demonstrates 92.4% accuracy in detecting security misconfigurations, 45% reduction in deployment latency, and 78% decrease in manual security interventions. The framework successfully processed 3,250 deployment scenarios with an average response time of 3.1 seconds. Designed generically for regulated enterprise environments, this methodology minimizes manual error, accelerates secure deployments, and aligns with Zero Trust principles. We outline architecture elements, automation flows, and compatibility with services like GuardDuty and AWS Inspector, demonstrating that AI-orchestrated infrastructure security is not only feasible but increasingly necessary in future consumer ecosystems.
