A SURVEY OF POWER-SAVING TECHNIQUES IN HPC

The necessities of saving power in HPC is highlighted, followed by the identification of major power-saving strategies that have been widely exploited in the literature, and high-level overview of the basic mechanisms to handle the power characteristics of HPC system is presented.
