Abstract

A significant decline in maintaining an irrigation system's water quality is one element that impacts public health. These toxins seriously threaten all of the aquatic ecosystem. Conventional techniques of water quality analysis are labour-intensive and time-consuming. With a real-time water quality monitoring system, it is, therefore, necessary to keep an eye on the water and take proactive steps to minimize pollution. The paper provides an overview of how technological advancements have aided in the development of effective strategies for quickly resolving several pressing problems. The Internet of Things (IoT) has garnered significant attention because of its intelligence and speedier processing. However, Artificial Intelligence (AI) approaches successfully statistically analyse massive amounts of historical data series in a short period and complex non-linear systems to improve modelling and forecasting. Finally, this study offers some recommendations and opinions.
