Success factors of agrifood start-ups – perspectives from machine learning

Results indicate that business model choice and founders’ networking skills are positively linked to advancement, while hardware-intensive, production-system innovations face friction and policy makers should reduce regulatory barriers, strengthen entrepreneurship education and adopt stage-specific support schemes.
