KESANTUNAN BERBAHASA WARGANET DALAM KOLOM KOMENTAR INSTAGRAM @JOKOWI ‘RUANG CAKAP DIGITAL’

This research is motivated by a survey conducted the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kemkominfo) in collaboration with the Katadata Insight Center (KIC) with the theme "Indonesian Digital Literacy Index", the survey reported that the pillars of digital ethics (digital ethics) in the 2021 digital literacy index has decreased compared to the digital literacy index in 2020. Pillars Digital ethics (digital ethics) on the digital literacy index in 2020 is at a score of 3.72, while in 2021 it is getting a score of 3.53. This study aims to explore and elaborate on politeness in the language of netizens in the comments column on Instagram @jokowi's post "Ruang Cakap Digital" referring to Leech's politeness scale. This study uses a qualitative approach and uses content analysis methods. Data collection techniques are observation techniques, documentation, and free-engagement speaking techniques. Data analysis techniques This research uses content analysis techniques, Bungin as follows: Identification, Coding, Classification, Analysis, and Description. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that the language politeness of netizens in the @jokowi Instagram comment column is measured by the Leech politeness scale, which is more dominantly impolite. While the politeness scale that is most widely referred to is the indirectness with a total analysis result of 80.
