Abstract

This paper draws on actual attempts being made to develop and implement ethical frameworks and discusses AI regulatory approaches of two countries (United Arab Emirates and New Zealand) and provides recommendations for organizations developing their own AI ethics policies. These recommendations aim to address key ethical considerations related to the adoption and implementation of AI tools, including data protection and ownership, accountability and responsibility, error management, physical safety, societal harms, and economic implications.
