The article presents the results of studying the residential needs of the Kirov region in the use of digital technologies when organizing tourist travel during the COVID -19 pandemic. The authors propose a model of analysis. The authors also determined the most popular digital services at the planning stage and trip realization after returning. The research results can be in demand by specialists in the promotion of tourism products, will be approachable for the heads of travel companies and developers of digital services. Key findings can help to guide the digital transformation of the travel industry.
