It emphasizes the ways in which AI improves greater human-machine collaboration, increases productivity, and facilitates environmentally friendly behavior. The study utilized research from 2010 to 2023 drawn from peer-reviewed databases such as Web of Science, Scopus, IEEE Xplore, Google Scholar, and ScienceDirect with systematic review methodology (PRISMA). Atlas.ti software was employed by the authors in order to identify noteworthy trends in employing AI within supply chain management after choosing the most pertinent papers. The study provides insights into how AI is significantly contributing to vital functions like inventory management, demand planning, and data-driven, timely decision-making. Supply chains are becoming more responsive and tailored because Industry 5.0 is increasingly focusing on human-AI collaboration. AI also contributes to the environment by assisting companies in utilizing AI resources more efficiently and minimizing waste. There are nonetheless issues, including safeguarding employees from such change and making systems cyber proof. Overall, the study offers good insight into how to best incorporate AI into smart, sustainable, and future-proof supply chains for researchers and practitioners.
