Findings point to the transformative potential of combining neuroimaging and ML in precision medicine, offering a new paradigm for the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders ranging from irritable bowel syndrome to Alzheimer's disease, however, challenges related to data harmonization, generalizability across populations, and establishing causal relationships remain.
