Assessment of the use of the speculum for intravitreal injections of anti‐VEGF

A correlation between baseline vision and treatment response suggests that ranibizumab is most effective when the treatment potential is large, and treatment should not be deferred when DME is severe, and results indicate that adjuvant laser photocoagulation increases the visual outcome.
