Artels of disabled people as a part of industrial cooperation of Astrakhan Governorate in 1920s

The article analyzes the activities of disabled artels in the 1920s on the territory of Astrakhan Governorate. On the basis of archival material, first introduced into the scientific circulation, two invalid artels were singled out: “Inrybak” and “Ray of Cooperation”. Special attention is paidto production activities, financial indicators, personnelcomposition,theircomparative analysis iscarried out. Thereasons of achievements and failures accompanying the artels throughout the period of their existence are shown.
