ANALISIS KERUSAKAN BEARING MAIN SHAFT PADA MESIN SCREW PRESS MSB 15 DENGAN METODE TOTAL PRODUCTIVE MAINTENANCE (TPM) DI PABRIK KELAPA SAWIT PT. XYZ

One of the palm oil companies that produces CPO and kernels in South Kalimantan is PT. XYZ. Materials that are often damaged in the palm oil production process at PT. XYZ is the main shaft bearing on the MSB 15 screw press machine which affects the quality and quantity of CPO and kernels produced. This research aims to find out the cause of damage to the main shaft bearing on the MSB 15 screw press machine using the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) method using information and knowledge regarding Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), TPM, and machine working hours at the press station. The research results show that OEE on the press machine at PT. XYZ is below standard, namely with an availability value of 77% which should be 90%. The performance rate and quality rate values are 89.57% and 100%. Overall, the OEE value is still at 68.5%, still below the standard of 85%, which means that the production carried out is still considered reasonable but many improvements need to be made. The results of the analysis carried out caused damage to the main shaft bearing of the screw press MSB 15 press station PT. XYZ is the engine error, human error and material factors.
