A Response to “Measuring Students’ Writing Ability on a Computer Analytic Developmental Scale: An Exploratory Validity Study”

Concerns and caveats are raised which the authors hope will help the researchers fine-tune their initial efforts, as well as offering cautions to practicing educators who may use the Writing Ability Developmental Scale.
