A POETIC DEFENSE OF THE HARMED. REFLECTIONS AFTER READING “LITTLE DUTIES” (“MAŁE POWINNOŚCI”)

The article is dedicated to a consideration of the situation of victims - victims of sexual crimes, who often do not receive proper assistance. The analysis was carried out in the trend of the law in the literature with reference to Joanna Oparek’s volume of poetry entitled “Little duties”. The analysis discuses provisions of both criminal and civil law concerning the protection of victims, which may be ensured through the reporting of a crime to the relevant authorities. The text also highlights the special needs of victims.
