TLDR
The toxicity of CPF seems to be mainly overcome via induction of the ascorbate-glutathione cycle and CAT, SOD and GPX activities, while the toxicity of SMZ on the photosynthetic apparatus is predominantly reduced by the xanthophyll cycle and GST activity.
