DIGITAL TWINS FOR ADVANCED MANUFACTURING: THE STANDARDIZED APPROACH

This Chapter identifies implementation challenges for Digital Twins for manufacturing, reviews relevant standardization efforts, introduces the ISO Digital Twin framework standard for manufacturing, presents use cases, and discusses potential research topics and future standardization directions.
