Effects of compassion meditation on a psychological model of charitable donation.

A psychological model predicting compassionate behavior is developed and tested as a mediator of a Compassion Meditation intervention and the "active ingredients" of CM are identified to inform the understanding of the change processes and intervention components of CM.
