Abstract
The article aims to discuss the results of a survey of professional translators in 2024 on the use of modern technology in searching for specialized information, as well as improving subject matter competence in their speciality. The findings make it possible to determine whether the translation industry has already moved completely into the virtual world, or whether translators are continuing to use traditional sources of information, and whether this is related to a specific speciality, or working language.
